FAQs

Do you offer discounts for early stage companies?

Yes. For any companies that either 1) have 10 or less employees or 2) are doing less than $1M in ARR, the discounted price is $5,000.

What do I actually get at the end of the process?

By the end of our process, you'll get:
1) A Miro board with your churn reduction process map.
2) A Google doc with a detailed CS system configuration guide.
3) A Google docs folder with all churn reduction process playbooks.
4) Two 60-minute implementation office hours.

How long does the process take?

End-to-end, the process takes roughly one month to complete. However, this timeline is highly dependent on how quick and timely your team can provide feedback on our iterations. Be prepared to sync with your team in a timely manner in order to keep the final stage of the process moving forward.

How do we get started?

If you’d like to move forward, grab a spot on my calendar. After we chat briefly, I’ll send over a lightweight contract and payment link. Once you sign and pay, I’ll send over additional calendar links to book the consulting sessions.

Who should I bring from our team?

I recommend bringing 3-4 people (max!) from your team, ideally those who deeply understand your product, customers, and go-to-market strategy. I also ask that anyone who attends commits to being present for all the consulting sessions.

Will you interview our customers?

I don't talk to customers, and here's why:

1) it would make me much more expensive,
2) it would make the process much slower,
3) outsourcing talking to customers is the last thing I would recommend for any early-stage company to do. I rely on you to be the subject matter experts on your customers. This project can succeed (or fail) based on how well you know them.

Will you take care of CS system implementation?

I typically don't handle the direct implementation, and here's why:

1) it would make me much more expensive,
2) it would make the process much slower,
3) I strongly encourage early-stage companies to manage their CS systems in-house. This allows you to maintain direct control over your core processes, ensuring flexibility and speed as your company evolves.

You'll find that the CS system configuration guide I provide is specifically designed for your setup and is detailed yet easy to follow for any CS leader. Plus, you'll have two 60-minute implementation office hours for any questions that come up.

Do you have any industry-specific expertise?

While I have worked with companies across many different industries, I do not consider myself expert on any one industry (unless you consider B2B SaaS an industry). I will be relying on you as the subject matter experts to help me understand the relevant nuances of your particular industry throughout the process — from the consulting sessions all the way through to the final deliverables.
